Your legacy of helping to preserve the Paula Lane property: An Endowment is being created to fund long-term property maintenance costs of the Paula Lane land, as part of the proposed Open Space project. The fundraising goal is $300,000 and will include donations via Will, Promise of Real Property Proceeds, Grants and Cash. These donations are also tax-deductible and can be documented and/or given currently and held for this purpose. To date, we have pledges of $50,000. Please join us in creating this legacy.

Educational Programs: PLEF at PEF - Paula Lane Education Fund (PLEF) with the Petaluma Educational Foundation (PEF). This fund will be available to private and public school teachers and students for projects at the Paula Lane Open Space Preserve. Natural resource enhancement and organic gardening will be 2 primary open classroom study areas. Box 2903, Petaluma, CA 94953, and write "Education Fund" on your check memo line. Help our teachers, students and their future in conservation and natural resources education - and help preserve one of South Sonoma County's oldest rural areas and wildlife corridors, saving hundreds of wild-lives of avian, mammal, reptilian and amphibian species in the process.

Volunteer: - We welcome volunteer assistance at all of our Events. Come and walk with us in the Human Race in 2009, or sponsor a walker or runner. Join us at our annual Homemade Lasagna Dinner and Silent Auction on June 6, 2009 at the historic Petaluma Women's Club. We have lots of areas for helping with this fun event. Or, share your ideas with us if you desire to support our activities and wish to be part of this wonderful community-based effort. We also help other nonprofit efforts in our community - join us at community events and conversation expos!
